We are at 1000 feet elevation on 10 wonderful acres. All of my animals have yearly checkups and shots and are well cared for. They are all part of my family.
Healthy pups start with healthy parents. We keep our Dams, Sires & puppies as natural as possible. All of our runs are spacious with ample shelter and shade available meeting or exceeding USDA guidelines. Great Danes are pack animals so we keep our adults in pairs or trios with views of other dogs as well. We strongly believe in natural supplements & health care to keep our animals healthy along with our traditional veterinary care when needed.
We give them Echinacea with Goldenseal root to help build and keep their natural immunities strong and healthy the natural way. Echinacea is an herbal supplement that is a centuries old way to support ones’s immune system. Goldenseal root helps maintain a healthy immune system as well as for digestive tract health.
Dreamcatcher Great Danes also uses Diatomaceous Earth, also referred to as DE, for overall health of all our animals. It is used for worming of all animals and we also believe it carries overall health benefits wherever your animals may need it. It is safe for humans and many people take it orally daily. It is used as a bug killer, even for fleas! For those on farms, it can keep down those pesky flies and other annoying insects.
How does it work? Diatomaceous Earth is the fossilized remains of marine phytoplankton. When it is sprinkled on a bug that has an exoskeleton (such as bed bugs, ants, or fleas) it gets caught between their little exoskeleton joints. As they move, the diatomaceous earth acts like razor blades and cuts them up. Or another way to explain it is that they simply dry out from this “cutting up”. But don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt mammals. DE is mixed in the grains for animal feed to keep it from caking together.
We are always learning more safe, natural, and effective ways to produce our very best and pass it along to you in the form of cuddly, healthy, happy puppies.

Kylie was born 19 years ago with many many problems that her doctors then gave her very little chance of surviving. But she did indeed and touched everyone who met her. She was so full of laughter, loved to dance, casadias, and especially chocolate cake. She was my first grandchild and she taught me so much. I know that Kylie is now without pain, laughing and dancing along with taking selfies. She will be missed forever.
Love Grandpa
On Saturday the 13th of June 2009 after 70 years of loving animals Dreamcatcher Ranch lost its dearest, Mama. A stalwart believer of nursing sick puppies till the very end, she gave up many, many hours of sleep to cuddle weak or dying babies so they would not come into, or leave this world scared or alone.
Memorial written by Carol Krasean
Mama’s name was Roma Lee Gray, she is survived by her Husband of 24 years Chuck Gray, son Wayne Kiser, daughter Carol Krasean, 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Mama was born on April 3, 1926 and passed away on June 13, 2009 Mama was always there for each of us, family was the most important thing to her. On Dreamcatcher Ranch one of the things that she loved to do was hold the puppies. I will always remember the time we were trying to save a few puppies that had been born a few days early, she helped me feed them every two hours, then when one of them we knew was dying she held and rocked her all the while talking really low telling the little puppy that it was going to be alright and that she knew that the little puppy was going to puppy heaven.
Nicky and Sweetbaby were my Babies, they slept with me on my king size bed every night. I will miss them lots. It seems so lonely without them. Both would follow me around the ranch all day long.
